2012 awards are available for 5 teachers! The award includes:
   1. Teacher training stipend /$500 for a teacher
   2. Workshop supplies (provided)
   3. Registration for the 7th BioNanoTox and Applications Research Conference . We will cover $130 toward your registration cost.
   4. Supplies / follow up activities by a teacher ($150 / per teacher)
   5. Poster presentation printing services (provided)
   6. Certificate of Participation (56 credits of a Professional Development)
                         
Requirements
 
Requirements: You have to be a high or middle school teacher either in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Environmental Science, and be a resident of Arkansas. Eligible teachers should register and submit a registration form prior May 14, 2012 via e-mail (eduscien@yahoo.com ; CC: omtarasenko@ualr.edu). The incubent teacher will attend and participate in the workshop with an individual research project (see Modules below). Please submit an abstract for a poster presentation at the 7th BioNanoTox Conference to be held in November 15-16, 2012. Under-represented racial and ethnic minorities, women, and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

Registration Fee:  We will cover $130 of your registration cost.

Optional (in the collaboration with faculty involved): The organizers are also encouraging teachers to submit a six-page research article based on obtained data and research/educational experience acquired during the 2012 Workshop. Accepted articles will be published by the BioNanoTox International Journal in April-May 2013.
